Dr. Ali was born and raised in Iraq where he achieved his B.D.S certification in dental surgery from Baghdad University. He obtained a German Board Certificate for dental implants in 2009. With this knowledge and experience, Dr. Ali joined Doctors Without Borders (MSF-France) in the Middle East from 2009-2012, where he performed facial reconstructive surgeries for civil injured people throughout Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, and Egypt. In 2013, Dr. Ali became a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the United States of America. Dr. Ali’s passion for teaching and experience as an RDA inspired him to teach at an RDA school for four years while he obtained his Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of California, San Francisco. As an RDA, Dr. Ali provided comprehensive dental services to U.S. troops before their deployments from 2014-2021. In 2021, Dr. Ali continued to provide comprehensive dental services to servicemen and women as a D.D.S., as he obtained a certification in Advanced Graduate Study in Dental Public Health before completing his Pediatric Residency from Boston University. His passion for pediatric dentistry has led him to Park Place Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, where we are proud to have him on our team as a board-certified pediatric dentist.
When Dr. Ali is not providing excellent care at Park Place Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, he enjoys cooking, playing soccer, watching action movies (Batman is his favorite), and spending quality time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Ali met his wife/ lifelong study partner, while they were both attending their oral surgery residency. She too has a passion for helping others and is working with our US troops as a D.D.S.
Dr. Aderonke Ogunbameru was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and relocated to Washington D.C. as a teenager. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., in 2013. She continued to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, to complete her general practice residency. During her residency, Dr. Ogunbameru enjoyed providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, but she enjoyed caring for children most of all. Inspired by her passion for providing children with compassionate, gentle dental care, Dr. Ogunbameru returned to Howard University College of Dentistry in 2020 to receive extensive specialized training to become a pediatric dentist, and she is currently board eligible.
Dr. Ogunbameru is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. When she’s not providing patients with comprehensive care, she can be found teaching Sunday School at her church, sewing, and learning new things.
